PROBLEMS IN PHOTO, SIGNATURE AND DOB IN PANCARD APPLICATION

GENERALLY, FOLLOWING DEFECTS / PRECAUTIONS / Problems PHOTO, SIGNATURE AND DOB IN PANCARD APPLICATION ARE OBSERVED FOR WHICH APPLICATIONS ARE REJECTED OR WITHHELD :-

1. Photograph not proper:

(A) Photograph is not acceptable if it has white patches on applicants face and also not been crop properly.

(B) Photograph is not acceptable if it is blur which will not be clear on PAN card.

(C) Photograph is not acceptable if it has trees/flowers etc. in background (Only plain background allowed), which is not acceptable and therefore, Background of photos should be plain.

(D) Photograph is not acceptable because of lining over applicant’s face, which damage quality of photograph.

(E) Photograph should be with straight view.

(F) Photograph shouldn’t be torn from any side.

(G) Photograph shouldn’t have any patches on face.

(H) No portion of Photograph should be pasted on Signature Box and therefore, Signature Box should be free from Photo.

(I) Photograph should be properly pasted with quality adhesive and it should not be pinned any way.

2. Photograph not cropped:

(A) Wrong cropping resulted into torn image and excess image, which is not acceptable.

(B) Photograph should crop properly, so applicant’s face should be clear.

3. Signature not cropped: Below mention signatures are rejected due to cropping :-

(A) Signature shouldn’t be torn, neither touch any line of assign signature box.

(B) Signature should be clear and within the box.

(C) Signature shouldn’t be torn/cut from any side.

4. Proof of date of birth: Following documents as proof of date of birth are not acceptable as per NSDL guideline :-

(A) Examination admit card of matriculation.
(B) Domicile certificate without date of birth.
(C) Birth certificate issued by school principal.

Aadhaar card is now valid Id Proof for Pancard

As per new rules for pan card with effect from 01.02.2014, Aadhar card is also valid and partially acceptable Id for address proof and proof of identity but Aadhar card will not be a valid Id for date of birth for pan card application and thus, Aadhar card can not be used as single id like Driving License and Passport (which can be used as single Id for address proof, proof of identity and for date of birth) but it can be used with any other Id for date birth. In case, more than one Id is used for pancard application, name and father’s name of all such Ids should be 100% same and identical but without initials(Single alphabet) as first and last name/surname. SPEEDY & FAST PAN CARD AFTER 20TH MAY,2014

Speedy and Fast Pan Card After 20.05.2014 : Govt. has decided to increase the efficiency as well as it’s internal procedure for early issuance of pan card and accordingly, govt. website is under maintenance. And as declared, this development and maintenance program will be completed by 20th May, 2014.

After this new development and maintenance, application of pan card will be disposed off expeditiously & fast and great time will be saved and therefore, applicants should not be worried if their pan cards have been delayed as good days of pan card are coming after 20.05.2014.

Date Of Birth For Pan Card

From February, 2014, rules for pancard application have been changed. Except Driving License and Passport, none other documents is perfect proof for Indentification, address proof and date of birth whereas  identity proofs for all the three purposes are required. Very few documents have been prescribed in support of date of birth. Apart from  Driving License and Passport, copies of only following documents will be valid  for date of birth for pancard purpose :-
